“Can’t Say” FGL’s Tyler is prepared for new baby to arrive during tour: “I guess we’ll just wing it”
ABC/Image Group LAFlorida Georgia Line kicks off their Can’t Say I Ain’t Country tour Thursday in Rogers, AR and the trek will keep them on the road through the end of September. That’s great, but there’s only one problem: Tyler Hubbard‘s new baby is due in August.
Speaking with ET Canada, Tyler talked about what he’ll do if his new son arrives while he’s on the road.
“I guess we’ll just wing it and see what happens. Hopefully have a plane somewhere close by if it goes down,” he explains. “But we’re just gonna cross that bridge once we get there.”
At least this time around, Tyler and his wife Hayley are a bit more prepared, since they’re already parents to one-year-old Olivia Rose.
“It feels like we can handle it and we’re not as in the dark, but we feel confident and we’re excited,” Tyler says.
As for the title of their tour and their current album, FGL’s Brian Kelley says they’re only poking fun.
“It’s kind of a bold statement but it’s super lighthearted,” explains Brian. “It wasn’t really an answer to anybody — we just felt like it’d be a good little marking tool.”
