“Can’t Say I Ain’t…” Patriotic: How FGL is helping a dozen wounded veterans on tour
PR Newswire/Danilo LewisFlorida Georgia Line is teaming up with The Independence Fund to give all-terrain tracked wheelchairs to catastrophically wounded veterans on the Can’t Say I Ain’t Country Tour.
Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley presented the first one to Greg Dotson onstage during kickoff weekend in Dallas, Texas. The Army veteran lost his leg to an IED in Iraq in 2007.
Not only did Tyler and Brian call Greg onstage to give him his wheelchair, he also got to help sing the chorus to their 2014 smash, “Dirt.”
FGL’s work with The Independence Fund started in 2016, but back then, they did the presentations during private meet-and-greets backstage.
Eleven more remain during the Can’t Say I Ain’t Country Tour. The next one is set to take place this Friday night in Mansfield, Massachusetts.
