No more “Mr. Lonely”: Midland’s Mark Wystrach pops the question
ABC/Image Group LAMidland’s Mark Wystrach is planning to become a married man.
“Popped THE QUESTION and Ty Haney had the answer I was lookin’ for!!!” he shared on Instagram on Tuesday, along with a photo of his new fiancée and their puppies Juice and Pony.
Mark asked Ty to marry him on Monday, after spending a week apart. He designed her engagement ring himself.
“It kind of was unplanned and just unfolded naturally when we were barefooted and on a walk with our little puppies,” he tells People. “It was right after a big thunderstorm, and the sun just popped [up] out of nowhere, and I knew it was a sign.”
The two met on a blind date after Ty reached out to Mark on his socials. They’ve been dating since April of last year.
“I knew from the first moment I laid eyes on her that I was going to marry her,” Mark proclaims.
Midland’s new single may be called “Mr. Lonely,” but it’s clear that the trio’s lead singer is not.
