Pizza Sales Skyrocket During Pandemic

This probably isn’t shocking news, but…  people love pizza – especially the good stuff, in the comfort of home.

Not surprisingly, pizza sales have had a big jump since the pandemic kicked in.

To keep up with the demand, Dominos has hired 30,000 new employees since the pandemic began.

CNBC correspondent Kate Rogers reports, “A lot of people struggled during the pandemic.  Many, many people were out of work or looking to operate on tighter budgets.  Pizza is a quick and easy way to feed many people for not a lot of money.”
