Police Searching For Man Who Tried To Rob A Wendy’s In Joliet

Authorities are searching for a man who tried to robbed a fast food restaurant in suburban Joliet. Police say officers were called out Friday on a report of an attempted robbery at a Wendy’s on South Larkin Avenue. An investigation found that a male ordered a children’s meal while in the drive-thru, walked up to the window to pay for the order, and pulled up his shirt to reveal a gun in his waistband. He demand money from the cashier, but the employee ran from the window. The male then ran from the area. (Metro News)
