“Rumor” has it Lee Brice will celebrate Independence Day on PBS’ “A Capitol Fourth”
Michael Hickey/Getty ImagesIt’s no “Rumor”: Lee Brice will be ringing in the Fourth of July in Washington, D.C.
He’s one of the performers taking part in the annual PBS special A Capitol Fourth, which will air live from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol.
Lee is the only solo country act on the bill, which also includes Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Carole King, American Idol winner Laine Hardy, this season’s The Voice winner Maelyn Jarmon, violinist Lindsey Stirling, The Greatest Showman’s Keala Settle, singer and actress Vanessa Williams, and pop star Colbie Caillat, performing with her new country group Gone West.
The 39th annual broadcast of A Capitol Fourth, hosted by John Stamos, will air on PBS Thursday, July 4 from 8 to 9:30 p.m. ET.
If you don’t want to wait that long to see Lee live, his next date is this Saturday in Webster, MA, followed by dates in Nevada, New Mexico and Utah.
