Something More: Jennifer Nettles readies new EP for Friday
ABC/Randy HolmesJennifer Nettles is putting out a new EP on Friday, the Sugarland singer revealed on her socials.
“A couple of years ago I wrote and recorded an EP collection and have been holding it so sweetly to my chest while Kristian [Bush] and I were out promoting and touring Bigger,” she explained, referring to Sugarland’s reunion record that came out last summer.
It turns out Jennifer’s recent solo song, “I Can Do Hard Things,” is the first taste of the new record.
“Now I am ready to share the whole little project in its completion,” her post continues. “Some of the songs are confessional. Some are saucy. All of them are fun explorations for me.”
“I’ll be showcasing some sneak peeks this week to get you excited,” Jennifer adds. “But I am so thrilled to finally bring this little beauty to full light.”
Last Friday, Kristian Bush put out his own Summertime Six Pack EP. The two will work a dozen dates together as Sugarland starting at the end of this month.
